Why Now lifts the fog established on the duos digital 2023 two-song debut, pushing their signature beat-forward minimalism into digital dancefloor soundscapes. Following in the tradition of dub albums, Why Now features four vocal cuts on the a-side backed with four reimagined and stripped back dub versions on the b-side.

Lyrically, Bally takes on the narrative of a detective in search of the perfect groove, even if it ultimately leads to their own fictional demise.
