Title: The Psychedelic Furs The Complete Peel Sessions
Year/Genre/Sub-Genre/City: 1980, Rock, Post-Punk, London, England
Condition: New

Cultural Facts:

  1. Studio Lore: Peel Sessions were cut fast for BBC radiobands had to deliver near-live takes under tight time limits, no studio luxury.

  2. Media Narrative: John Peels endorsement functioned like a gate-opener; one session could leapfrog a band past hostile press and into national attention.

  3. Personal Struggle: Richard Butler came up working-class and has spoken about insecurity and anger as fuelmusic as an exit route, not a hobby.
