Keane‘s fourth studio album is a return to the massive, piano-led rousers that characterised their debut albumHopes and Fears. Keane have always combined an effortless musicianship with a keen understanding of big melodies and communal feeling and onStrangelandthis is no different.Strangelandsidesteps the sparkly synth touches of ‘Perfect Symmetry‘ and gets personal with singerTomChaplin‘s lyrics and vocals often touching and stirring at the same time.
