Irish fem focused collective, Gash presents a pick n mix selection of some of the many varied voices in Irish music at present, blurring the lines between experimental dance and contemporary electronic music.

The A side features a deep dive into drums with iced out percs and shape shifting textures from Ellll (Glacial Industries, Paralaxe Editions, FSL). The drum work continues with dance focused, howling rhythms from hard drum icon Syn (Even the Strong). These tracks are then juxtaposed with the multi-layered, all engulfing soundscapes of acclaimed composer Irene Buckley. The B side kicks off with overdriven, commanding techno flavours of Caskr, followed by breathy pads, booming subs and precise percussion of Sculptress. Gadget and the Cloud features next, presenting a playful and woozy world with her signature lo-fi, off kilter production style. Last but not least, multimedia composer Anna Murray rounds the records off with immersive, minimalist rumblings of a sly groove in effect.

Ellll Ellen King Producer, DJ, Electronic artist and Gash Collective founder. Ellll has carved out a distinctive voice thanks to sets and productions laced with breaks, abstract experimentation, disjointed techno and bass heavy club. ELLLL has released four EPs to date, Romance on Art for Blind Records, Febreeze on Dublins First Second Label, Confectionary on Glacial Industries and Glisten, via Barcelonas Paralaxe Editions

Syn Rene Wyatt Cork, Drum based club music, DJ and Producer. Born from the fiery depths of hell, Syn is a chaotic imp with a quirky attitude. Her productions derive influence from Brazilian and Latin percussion and has recently begun mangling her style with a wider scope of party-rocking rave noise within her several new and unnecessary genres such as DDM (dumb dance music) Raptor Donk and Hyperdrum. Recent releases include Temper, a collection of intense emotions channeled into furiously utile club tools and dramatic imagery on hard drum label Even the Strong. // Irene Buckley Experimental composer and electronic musician from Cork. An award winning composer Irene is active across many music disciplines including choral, opera, orchestral, dance, theatre, film and electronics. Irene is also a member of Crevice alongside musicians Elaine Howley and Roslyn Steer.

Caskr Jamie Hyland Dublin based DJ, Producer and Sound Engineer

Sculptress Sinad Meaney Sculptress is the electronic music alias of Irish multimedia artist, composer and DJ, based in Berlin. Her work combines audiovisual installation, electronic music and performance.

Gadget and the Cloud Kelly Doherty Electronic artist and DJ based in Dublin. GATC has frequently played Irelands festival circuit including Sounds From A Safe Harbour, Cork Sound Fair, Open Ear Festival, Quarter Block Party. Recent releases include Thing Ill Never Say, on Irish label Fort Evil Fruit. A cassette exploring the melancholic and melodic sides of electronic music.

Anna Murray Anna Murray mixed-media composer and experimental electronic artist. Anna has a particular interest in language and text-based composition, as well as graphic and open scores combined with live improvised electronics. She is currently based in Tokyo where she is studying Japanese Noh theatre.
