Proving once again thats he’s an incredible songwriter, with or without a band, Brian Fallon is typically earnest, pained and introspective. As is the case with most frontmen who do solo projects, this does have moments that feel a little stripped down and probably would have been bigger and fuller on an album with the band. Some fantastic songs and a smattering of filler equate to a good album.
