Please note: These are untouched, unplayed copies of the original version of the album, not the remastered/redesigned version from 2016, which we also stock.

The first album by English epic metal heroes Bal-Sagoth. This opus is notably different from everything that followed and has much more of a black/death metal overtone throughout, and despite the first glimpses of those trademark narrative spoken parts, it has a darker and more understated tone that sits it comfortably alongside a lot of the black metal/occult metal releases of the day. A unique and timeless opus.

Bal-Sagoth are interviewed at length in the book ‘Cult Never Dies: The Mega Zine’, also available at this store.
