Production Steps

STEP 1: Preparation
Prepare a clean and tidy workbench, then sort and place all the items from the complete set on the workbench.
STEP 2: Check the Texture
Feel the softness of the ink pad. Affected by ambient temperature, if the ink pad is relatively hard, you can soak the unopened ink pad (together with its packaging) in warm water at 40C for 10 minutes before taking it out for use. At this time, the ink pad will be softer, allowing for better printing results.
STEP 3: Knead the Ink Pad
Based on the length of the babys hands and feet, use an appropriate portion of the ink pad. Generally, for a 6-month-old baby, take out two-thirds of a pack of ink pad. Knead the ink pad for 2-3 minutes to make it evenly soft. You can shape it into a smooth-surfaced oval ball or other irregular spherical shapes according to your preference.
STEP 4: Press and Flatten
Spread the plastic film (used to package the ink pad) on the workbench, place the ink pad on it, and press it into a pancake shape with your palm. Then gently roll a small wooden stick over the surface to flatten it. Note that the ink pad should be of uniform thickness, and the thickness should not exceed 1.5 cm.
STEP 5: Take the Prints
Ensure the babys hands and feet are clean. Slowly press the babys small hand or foot onto the ink pad with even force. The print should be neither too deep nor too shallow; keep pressing for 5-10 seconds without moving to allow the ink pad to fully capture the handprint or footprint. If you are not satisfied with the result, immediately repeat Steps 2-5 above.
STEP 6: Air-Dry and Assemble
Place the finished handprint/footprint ink pad in a well-ventilated and dry area, and air-dry both sides alternately for about a week. After that, apply colored paint and let it dry for another 1-2 days. Finally, use the provided glue to stick the ink pad (with prints) onto the backing paper, arrange and paste other accessories, and then place the entire piece into the photo frame to complete the process.

Precautions

1.The ornaments are small and the accessories look quite realistic. Never let children accidentally ingest them.
2.When the temperature is low in cold weather and the ink pad becomes hard (not soft), you can put the ink pad together with its bag into hot water to soak until it softens before use.
3.Once the ink pad is unpacked, you need to finish using it within 30 minutes. It can be reused multiple times within this 30-minute period.
4.It is recommended to take the prints when the baby is in a deep sleep. Press and hold each of the babys fingers (or toes) down for a few seconds, and keep the process slowthis will yield better results.
5.Remember to wait until the handprint/footprint ink pad is completely dry before placing it into the photo frame.
