Released in March 2008, this installment stitches together highlights from Norman, OK (10/11), Houston, TX (10/14), and Baton Rouge, LA (10/16), capturing the effortless interplay and tight improvisation that made 1977 a benchmark year for the Dead.

The release flows through radiant versions of Let It Grow and Sugaree, a stunning Help on the Way Slipknot! Franklins Tower sequence, and a fluid second set built around Playing in the Band, The Other One, and Terrapin Station. The Bonus Disc expands the experience with the beloved Scarlet Begonias Fire on the Mountain pairing and more gems from that same week.
